Finca Babo Yaro

It all started with the search for a place to establish an “ecological home”, where the principles of Permaculture and Organic Agriculture could be applied in a self-sustainable way. With all the illusions, we started this new adventure in 1997, where the beginning of the cultivation of the BaboYaro tree (Ním) was imminent.

The beginning was not easy, we found a very devastated land, arid and with little life; much work was done to adapt the land and establish irrigation systems, gradually achieving that the land flourished and regained its vitality. All this was achieved with the practice of Permaculture, applying plantings in a biodynamic system, that is, an environment free of contamination and chemicals; which gives as resutlado some cultures of great purity.

The Finca Babo Yaro is a heavenly and harmonious place that is located north of the Municipality of Comala. With a climate that oscillates between warm and temperate, it is suitable for the proliferation of a very varied and lush vegetation, of which much is typical of the region and another has adapted to the benefits of the place, which we have taken care of and cultivated through biodynamic systems and in the form of polycultures, looking for their proliferation in the farm.

Some of the vegetation species that you will appreciate on the farm are: Spring, cedar, nance, pine, guava, purple rose, galeana, tangerine, avocado, mango, white pine, medlar, Babo Yaro, banana, chacacahuitl, soursop , lime, orange, lemon, macadamia, aloe, San Antonio, vanilla, cocoa, cinnamon, tomato, jackfruit, among others.

As you can see, the combination of all these species of forest, fruit and ornamental trees, provide a unique environment that hides surprises to every corner that is looked at, favoring the practice of activities such as relaxing walks, camping, contemplation and Sensibilazion with nature.
